Dear
Fellow Laborers,
January
2005
Praise
the Lord for the exciting things He is doing in Russia!

120
folks came to see our “Christmas Eve” musical with
8 getting saved.
Foreign
Medical Student Bible Study Sees 120
For
our Christmas program this year, we saw 120 people in attendance.
Our group of young people worked harder than we ever have before.
We prepared lighting, songs, dramatic readings timed to music,
costumes, stage direction, sets, and enough food to feed an army.
Our program turned out to be the best we have ever had. We had
a total of 12 songs and 4 dramatic readings. The four parts we
used were Mary, a shepherd, Herod, and Simeon. Our actors did
the best they have ever done. I preached a message about how Jesus
was born to die for our sins. At the invitation, 8 people indicated
that they had received Christ.

Geoffrey
does a great job playing one of the shepherds.
Church
Christmas Program Sees 96
Our
Church program was the best that we had ever done as well. We
also had dramatic readings with 8 songs and everything turned
out great. Our church program had a larger group of actors with
13 of our kids in the church participating in the presentation.
One of the highlights of the program was when the adult and children’s
choir sang “Silent Night” together. Bro. Charters
preached a message about coming to Christ. He saw five people
indicate that they received Christ as Savior.
We
had 96 people come to our church presentation of Christmas.
Please
Pray for Our Moving Plans
After having consulted with a lawyer and many other missionaries,
I thought I gathered a good amount of information and was well
prepared to make our move to Rostov. However, I have recently
found out some things about Rostov that have made us reconsider
moving there. Two years ago all American Missionaries were not
allowed back in to Rostov. None have been invited to come in since
that time. Apparently, foreigners can not own land, an apartment,
or even a car in Rostov. This would hinder our plans to get permanent
residency visas and other ministry goals. I am now taking survey
trips to different parts of Russia that have no independent Baptist
work. I have just completed a trip to Volgograd (a city next to
Rostov) and the situation there is very favorable. I am also going
to take trips to Ekaterinburg and Samara (cities in the center
of Russia). Please pray as we continue to search for God’s
will.

This
statue is Volgograd’s most famous land mark.
Yours
in Christ,
Adam, Angela, and Alex
