Dear
Fellow Laborers,
March
2005
Praise
the Lord for the exciting things He is doing in Russia!

It
is always difficult to say good bye.
Parting
is Hard to Do
God
has given us a blessed opportunity to be a part of some very special
people’s lives while we have been here in St. Petersburg.
Bro. Kyle Charters’ church, that we have been working with,
is doing very well, and we praise the Lord for this opportunity
to learn from a veteran missionary. Our medical student Bible
study is also doing very well, and Bro. Charters has taken it
over and will continue to lead it. It was difficult to say good
bye to everyone, but we look forward to God using us in Samara
to change lives through the Gospel.
Bro.
Charters leading the medical student Bible study.
Everything
Packed and Shipped
As
soon as the Lord made it clear where He wanted us to go, it has
been non-stop movement. We needed to get new visas that specifically
invited us to Samara, which means we needed to take a train trip
to Finland. We are keeping our car and having a friend drive it
to Samara for us. Just to do this, it took a days worth of paper
work, which included unregistering it here, translating my passport,
and officially “trusting “ it to our friend. It could
take another half day to register it there, for which we will
only have 4 days. With the help of some great friends, we packed
a 5 ton and a 3 ton container full of our belongings and then
shipped them by train to Samara. In order to do this we had to
keep a detailed list of the contents of each box. My wife, while
I was taking care of documents, did 90% of the packing while she
is eight months pregnant. When we get to Samara we will have about
five days to find a place to rent before our belongings arrive.
Then we will have two weeks to find an apartment to buy for remodeling
before our two month trip to America to have the baby. With each
step there are many mistakes that can be made. Please pray for
us during this transitional time.

Mahil
accepted Christ this month.
Two
People saved
Mahil,
the sister of one of our long time attending members of our Bible
study, got saved this month. Also, we had a regular attender of
last year’s Bible study call me out of the blue. He had
not been able to attend because he had moved out of the dormitory
and lived in a different part of the city. He asked to meet with
me, and said that he had a Russian friend who was interested in
God. Her name is Ariana. She got saved at our house when we met
and then came to Bro. Charters’ church that Sunday. Please
pray for her faithfulness.

Sonjay
brought his Russian friend Ariana to me to hear about Christ.
Yours
in Christ,
Adam, Angela, and Alex
