Dear
Fellow Laborers,
April
2005
Praise
the Lord for the exciting things He is doing in Russia!

The
development in Samara is huge with over 2000 structures being
built.
Praise
the Lord We Arrived in Samara
After
going to Finland to get new visas, we entered back into Russia
and flew from St. Petersburg to Samara to be able to make the
three day registration deadline. Our car arrived in Samara a day
late, but praise the Lord it arrived in great condition. The two
containers that we packed with all of our belongings, actually
came much earlier than we expected. Most importantly, our family
arrived in Samara safely. Please continue to pray for the registration
of our car. We did run into some temporary obstacles. Some of
our paperwork had to be verified by the local notaries who had
to call some notaries in St. Petersburg, who created our documents.
The problem came when it took about a week to get a hold of the
people in St. Petersburg. We do expect our car to be registered
by the time we get back to Russia.
Praise
the Lord for the safe arrival of two containers and our car to
Samara.
We
Found a Temporary Apartment
Although
we arrived during a two day holiday, and our car arrived a day
later than we expected, we were able to find a good apartment
within one week for a decent price . Our remodeled apartment is
just around 600 sq. ft., but very conveniently laid out. We previously
were planning on trying to buy an apartment before we left for
the states. We found nothing that fit our needs, to be built in
the area we want to start our first church. Also we found out,
that for the same amount of money, we can buy a house with the
same amount of sq. footage. Please pray as we try to find God’s
will concerning this matter. Whatever we get, we are trying to
move into it as soon as possible, in order to file the paper work
for our permanent residency visas.

We
were able to find an apartment within a week of arriving.
Making
Friends Right Away
Mahil,
the sister of one of our long time attending members of our Bible
study, got saved this month. Also, we had a regular attender of
last year’s Bible study call me out of the blue. He had
not been able to attend because he had moved out of the dormitory
and lived in a different part of the city. He asked to meet with
me, and said that he had a Russian friend who was interested in
God. Her name is Ariana. She got saved at our house when we met
and then came to Bro. Charters’ church that Sunday. Please
pray for her faithfulness.

.
Our apartment is about 600 sq. ft. but very nicely laid out.
Yours
in Christ,
Adam, Angela, and Alex
