Praise the Lord for the exciting things He is doing in Russia!

Aleksei accepted Christ this month and has been faithful to
discipleship.

Aleksei Saved and Begins Discipleship

This month we had the privilege of seeing our first soul saved in Samara. Aleksei is 32 years old and works for the utility company that provides heating for our city. Aleksei recently went through the trial of a divorce and says that he is still hurting from it. We have already started the Daily in the Word Discipleship program and he has been very receptive. We are praying for his wife and 7 year old son to be saved also. Please pray for a man named Stas who was close to getting saved when I talked with him, but since then has had to move to another town for work. I still keep in contact with him. Pray that the opportunity will arise to meet with him soon and see him saved.

The Search for an Office Continues

We are expecting 5,000 New Testaments from BIMI to come any day now and we are still looking for a one room apartment to rent as a office. We will run our discipleship program from this location, and it will serve as my personal office away from home.

The Lord blessed with a good size piece of land in a
great location.

We Signed a Preliminary Contract to Buy Land

Praise the Lord we have found a wonderful piece of land that is larger than we were hoping for and couldn’t be in a better location. We have signed a preliminary contract with the owner in which he has agreed to sell us the land. We have a meeting scheduled on the 5th of September to register the transfer of ownership. Also at this time we will receive the deed to the property. This brings us one step closer to being able to get the five year visas that we need.

The Search for a General Contractor

We are gathering bids on the design and construction of our home. There are many things to consider. Just to officially begin construction, we need 16 approvals from different organizations. Please pray for this process.

• That Aleksei continues to be faithful in discipleship.
• That we will be able to find an inexpensive apartment to rent for an office.
• That 5,000 New Testaments will safely arrive soon.
• That the transfer of ownership on Sep. 5th will go smoothly.
