Dear
Fellow Laborers,
November
2005
Praise
the Lord for the exciting things He is doing in Russia!

“What
am I here for?” is an introductory brochure about the Christian
life.
First
Witness to Muslims
I
met Anar out soul winning, and he was very interested in what
the differences were between Islam and Christianity. The next
time we met, I witnessed to him and introduced the opportunity
to participate in our discipleship program. Anar lives in a town
about 40 minutes away from us, and he asked me to come to his
house and begin the program. The Lord worked it out so that I
witnessed to Anar’s entire family that first night. His
wife Yevgenia, and her brother Rueben and her mother. Rueben was
very responsive to the Gospel. These folks are not the type of
militant, fundamental Muslims that dominate most of Islam. They
seemed genuinely surprised when I talked about the “differences”
between Christianity and Islam, saying that they did not know
there were any. Please pray for God’s wisdom and power in
our relationship with these fringe Muslims.

The
first step in our remodeling has begun.
Ministry
Center Close to a Reality
We
are in the process of closing a deal on a three room apartment
in great condition in a wonderful new building. It is in an excellent
location. The asking price is the same as an inexpensive two room
apartment for our area. One room will serve as my personal office,
one as our meeting place for discipleship and mid-week church
services, and the third room will be for children’s ministries.
Please pray that the deal will be completed without any problems.
We also printed 1,000 brochures introducing the Christian life
for new converts .

Please
pray for the workers on our new apartment to be saved.
Remodeling
to be Finished in December
From
our point of view in America, it can be hard to understand why
there must be a remodeling done to an apartment. When we think
of remodeling in America, we think of the luxury of changing things
to match our taste and so on. In Russia, remodeling has more to
do with making an apartment meet basic standards of safety and
cleanliness, than just matching our taste. The heating many times
is inadequate, the plumbing unsanitary, and the wiring is just
dangerous. The walls have holes in them that need to be filled
and so on. This month our windows were replaced, and all the walls
have been cleared and the process of plastering them has begun.
Prayer
Requests
• For Dimitri and Anar and his family to
accept Christ
• That we will get permanent residency before February.
• That funds will come in to buy land for a church.
Yours
in Christ,
Adam, Angela, Alex, and Amelia
