Dear
Fellow Laborers,
March
2006
Praise
the Lord for the exciting things He is doing in Russia!
Witnessing
to Worker Who Has Stroke
While
remodeling our apartment I worked with five main workers. One
of the oldest and nicest workers was named Samval. I witnessed
to him briefly but he was not very interested. He was more interested
in telling me about the nice high ceilings he installed back in
his home in Armenia that were like “heaven” to him.
A few days ago, I was informed by Misha (the good contractor we
met and befriended that I wrote about two months ago) that while
we were gone renewing our visas, Samval had a serious stroke,
losing the use of the right side of his body first and then while
in the hospital, also losing the left side. Samval was sent back
to Armenia before we returned. Please pray for this dear man (as
we witness through the mail to him) that his understanding of
Heaven would go a little higher than his own ceilings.

Praise
the Lord for His provision of visas to allow us back in to the
country to work on our residency.
Close
Call With Visas
Thank
you so much for praying for us concerning our recent trip across
the border for new visas. The Lord blessed despite the fact that
I did not even know how much of a need we were in. The situation
was like this. We have an invitation from an organization, which
is an official document that allows us to receive our visas. However,
we needed to get a different type of invitation from an individual
person this time in order to receive temporary residency. I just
found out, that for some reason the office where we turned in
this request for an official invitation from an individual, never
turned that request in to the regional office. Praise the Lord
that we had back up invitations, to get back into the country,
and are now sorting out the situation. Right now it looks like
we will have to take an other trip across the border in late April
to get this different type of visa, so that we can qualify for
temporary residency. Once we have temporary residency, we won’t
be required to leave again for an other three years. Also this
will give us the chance of getting permanent residency. Please
pray with us concerning this need. No one can know all of the
conflicts between government offices here, only the Lord Jesus
can steer us clear of the obstacles in the way.
Prayer
Requests
• For Aleksei to stay faithful to discipleship.
• That we will get temporary residency by May.
• That funds will come in to buy land for a church.
Yours
in Christ,
Adam, Angela, Alex, and Amelia
