Praise the Lord for the exciting things He is doing in Russia!

Pray for Our Neighbors Salvation

During this last month we had our neighbors over for tea. They are an older couple named Lyudmila and Vasilye. Lyudmila is a retired accountant and Vasilye was an electrician, but is now a janitor at a brick factory in Alekceevka where we live. They lived for a long time in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, a republic of the Soviet Union. Lyudmila also took us to see the local celebration for Victory day (commemorating the victory in World War II).

Temporary Residency Approved by Moscow

We did in fact need to take an other trip to Finland which went well over all. The Russian consulate forgot to cancel my wife’s present visa before it issued the new one. Usually this is not a big problem, but at the border, they did not stamp her new visa, which was the whole reason we left and came back. We needed to be in the country on private visas. Praise the Lord the mistake was noticed, and I talked with the border guards and they redid everything. Before we left, we found out that we had been approved by the FSB in Moscow (the organization formerly know as the KGB), and so we were expecting our temporary residencies to be ready for us when we got back. Our stamps were not completely ready, but we are rejoicing that everything went well with our documents in Moscow. The rest should just be paper work filing by the local visa-passport desk, and any day now we are expecting to get our passports stamped with temporary residency.

Special Gifts

We do not normally single out churches that give us special offerings, but Shadow Mountain Baptist Church of Morgan Hill, CA was such a blessing, we felt it was appropriate to thank them publicly. Since we had just moved to a new place and also rented an office, we had many furniture needs. Pastor Kyle Haynes had just written to ask about our needs, and I gave him a long list of furniture, so that they could choose one or two of these items to provide. Well, they supplied the need for everything we asked for and then some. Thank you so much for allowing God to us you in this way.

• Stamps for residency to be completed.
• Funds to buy land for a church.
• Salvation for Misha and Marina, and Lyudmila and Vasilye.
