Praise the Lord for the exciting things He is doing in Russia!

 

Three Saved

I met Vadim next to a bus stop while soul-winning. He is a 30 year old travel agent who was very interested in spiritual things. Often I show people my documents, which identifies me and the church I represent, as I witness to them. Many here are afraid of being lied to, and these documents make them feel like they can trust you more. Vadim was one of those that wanted to see everything. After I showed him all of my documents, I pulled out my Bible and said to him, “I have a document here more trustworthy than any of these others. Man made these, but God made this one.” That really clicked with him. He committed to pray to be saved, and when I called him, he said that he had accepted Christ. We have set up a discipleship time at his house with him and his girlfriend.

Daniel-Testified that he accepted Christ, but would only communicate via SMS messages with me. Many are very afraid of what others will think. Pray that he will fear God more than man.
Aleksei- Testified of his salvation, when I called him on the phone, and he said that he wants to start discipleship with me. He comes from a rough background, and I believe God will use Aleksei’s salvation to turn his life around as well. Please pray for these three to remain faithful.

New Convert Faces Difficulty
Volodya who got saved last month committed to discipleship, but his wife yelled at him, and called him a horrible traitor to the Russian faith. He called me, after he had been drinking, and yelled at me not to call him again. By the end of the phone call, he apologized, and said he would call me. Please pray for Volodya.

Discipleship

Alexander G. has been faithful to discipleship and is learning much about the Lord straight from the Bible. We talked about icons (idols much like the Catholic crucifix and statues) and he said that he always thought that it was superfluous to pray to them. He again thanked me for showing him the Bible, and answering questions he has always had about God. May I thank you for supporting us so that we can have this great ministry.

No Change with Alexander who has TB

Thank you for your continued prayer for Alexander V. His condition has not worsened, (Praise the Lord) but the medicine has not had the desired effect, and they are continuing with the same medication. Pray that God will heal him.
