Dear
Fellow Laborers,
September
2004
Praise
the Lord for the exciting things He is doing in Russia!

This
new tract says “What does paradise mean to you?”
Much
Preparation for Transition
Please
pray for the following things that will be necessary to begin
our ministry in the south of Russia. We need an organization to
invite us to this part of Russia, a green card, a permanent residence
visa within a year of our arrival, wisdom and provision in buying
an apartment, and lastly, God’s protection in this more
volatile part of the world.

Galina
Anotolivna accepted Christ in our home this month.
Three
Folks Saved this Month
Three folks were saved this month through our ministry here in
Russia. I met Sergei while out soul-winning at a park, and had
the privilege of leading him to Christ. Galina Anotolivna came
to our church for the first time after receiving one of our invitations.
I talked with her a little bit and discerned very quickly that
she was not saved. My wife and I invited her over for tea, and
after having the opportunity to share Scripture with her for about
an hour and a half, Galina accepted Christ in our home. Please
pray that she would be faithful to her commitment to be baptized
in two weeks.
Michael
Hashish got saved this month as well.
Michael
Hashish had been to our church three times, and every time he
had raised his hand at the invitation indicating that he had accepted
Christ in the service. I invited him out to eat and we talked
about the eternal security of the believer, the blood atonement,
and the freeness of salvation for an hour. Finally it connected
when I asked him if he was ever worried that his father would
no longer be his father. A few minutes later the blood of our
Savior was applied to Michael’s account for real.
One
of Our Foreign Medical Students
Becomes Faithful to Discipleship.
George
is a contact that we made through our Bible study with foreign
medical students. He got saved at one of our church services,
but really wasn’t very faithful. About two months ago I
was able to have a talk with him to find out what was going on.
George was very worried about what the reaction to his new faith
would be back home in India. He did not think it was worth it
to suffer everything that he would go through with family and
society. I told him a little bit about Paul’s life and that
Paul had no regrets serving the Lord. Please pray for George to
stand for Christ.

After
fighting God’s will, George has become faithful to discipleship
Yours
in Christ,
Adam, Angela, and Alex
